All the exam related affairs of all the faculties in all the branches of the Java Institute for Advanced Technology are handled by the Department of Examinations in order to assure the integrity, accuracy, and quality. The Department of Examinations operates as a separate entity within the Java Institute. The Department of Examinations has been encrypted and it includes a well-developed quality assurance framework that has evolved over a period of several years.
Conducting examinations, issuing examination marks, issuing certificates, and certificate verifying are key processes handled by the Department of Examinations. In order to ensure the accuracy of the above system we are equipped with a well-developed software system

Empirical Approach for Business Behaviour Analysis in Business Process Management For the development of business software applications, it is essential to be aware of business environments. As students are completely new to any business environment at the beginning of the training programme, they are trained to empirically understand the nature of a business using physical business models as well as creative activities. These are also carried out in order to properly introduce them to the mechanism of collecting requirements that are required to develop a software application. Towards the latter stages of the programme, students are equipped with the fundamentals of UML notations so that they are able to design the architecture of a software solution. For the development of business software applications, it is essential to be aware of business environments. As the premier academic body of the java institute for advanced technology, the responsibilities of the academic council are of high significance and vital in order to maintain and uplift the standard of the academics of the javainstitute for advanced technology. the foremost and core responsibilities of the academic council are conducting and implementing quality assurance frameworks for the procedures involved in the examinations, training programmes, as well as for academic departments along with overseeing and developing the proposals, recommendations, and approvals for new programmes and modules for the java institute for advanced technology and thereby ensuring that the enhancement of the education and training the institute provides is effectively and continuously carried out.

One of the most vital and primary responsibilities that fall upon the academic council is to sustain the intellectual aura of the undergraduate students academic lives as well as to ensure that each and every faculty and department of the java institute for advanced technology complies with the academic rules and regulations ofthe institute. responsibilities pertaining to the financial aspects of the java institute also fall on the academic council and these include formulating the financial proposals for all the programmes and courses of the javainstitute for advanced technology and administer the tasks involved in planning these proposals.

The academic council also possesses the complete authority to execute and supervise periodic evaluations andanalyses of the salary equity reports of the faculties, organize and maintain the voluminous and substantial libraryof the institute, and deal with any disputes and conflicts that occur with regard to the students and academicmembers of the institute. additionally the academic council retains the right to make recommendations to the board of directions regarding new departments and any renaming activities of existing departments. administering degree programmes as well as supervising and managing any tasks involving joint and dual degree programmes as well as educational courses and sessions conducted in cooperation with other universities and institutes are also handled by the academic council.

Blood Donation Campaign of the Java Institute

The Blood Donation Campaign of the Java Institute for Advanced Technology was held on the 9th of October 2014 in commemoration of the seventh anniversary of the PCJT programme. Most of the undergraduates of the institute took part in this event and donated their blood. The Colombo Branch of the institute organised this particular blood donation programme but a number of students from other branches took part in the event. In addition to the blood donation programme, this particular event also scheduled and held movies, paintball, and car racing programmes parallely.
